Features

Everything you need to go from agent to chatbot

Bridge the gap between local development, testing, and production messaging platforms — without rewriting your agent.

3-Line Wrapper

Deploy any google-adk agent (Python or TypeScript) to messaging channels with virtually zero code changes.

Auto Tunnel & Webhooks

Set tunnel=True to spin up a local HTTP server and Cloudflare Tunnel automatically — with binary download and port-collision avoidance.

Cross-Device Session Sync

Chat on Telegram or Discord, then inspect and continue the exact same conversation inside the ADK Web UI (adk web).

Automatic Database Setup

Transparently spins up an async SQLite backend to record session states, events, and tool invocations.

Local Persistent Mapping

Secure local JSON mapping engine ensures restarting the bot never breaks session IDs or active chats.

Multi-Agent Support

Built-in sub-agent support with auto-resolution of state variables and double-import safety for complex agents.

ConnectorManager

Deploy one agent across Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp simultaneously with a single start_sync() call.

Extensible Architecture

Modular connector design with Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp live today — Slack coming soon.

Platforms

One agent, every channel

Supported in ADK Python and TypeScript. Pick your platforms or deploy to all of them at once.

How it works

From local agent to live chatbot

Four steps to bridge development, testing, and production messaging.

01

Define your ADK agent

Use your existing google-adk Python or @google/adk TypeScript agent — no rewrites needed.

02

Bind a connector

Wrap your agent with TelegramConnector, DiscordConnector, or WhatsAppWebConnector in a few lines.

03

Start the bot

Run your script. Optional tunnel=True auto-provisions webhooks via Cloudflare with zero config.

04

Sync with ADK Web

Enable session_management_across_device to continue chats in the adk web UI at localhost:8000.

Installation

Get up and running in minutes

Available on PyPI and npm. Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+ required.

adk-connector on PyPI (v0.4.2)

bash
# Install individual connectors:
pip install "adk-connector[telegram]"
pip install "adk-connector[discord]"
pip install "adk-connector[whatsapp]"

# Or install all connectors:
pip install "adk-connector[all]"

# For cross-device session sync (adk web UI):
pip install "google-adk[db]"

Environment variables

env
# Required for agent reasoning
GEMINI_API_KEY=your_gemini_api_key_here

# Telegram
TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN=your_telegram_bot_token_here
TELEGRAM_USER_ID=your_telegram_user_id_here

# Discord
DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN=your_discord_bot_token_here
DISCORD_USER_ID=your_discord_user_id_here

Quick Start

Three lines to a live bot

Wrap your existing ADK agent and start polling — or enable webhooks with one flag.

python
import os
from dotenv import load_dotenv
from google.adk.agents.llm_agent import Agent
from adk_connectors.telegram import TelegramConnector

load_dotenv()

assistant = Agent(
    model='gemini-2.5-flash',
    name='my_assistant',
    instruction='You are a helpful assistant.'
)

if __name__ == "__main__":
    connector = TelegramConnector(
        token=os.getenv("TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN"),
        agent=assistant,
        tunnel=True,  # Auto webhook + Cloudflare tunnel
    )
    connector.start()

Run with python agent.py

Session Sync

Chat on mobile, debug on desktop

Enable cross-device session synchronization to chat with your bot on Telegram or Discord, then view, inspect, or continue the exact same conversation inside the local ADK Web UI.

Message your bot on Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp

Sessions sync automatically via SQLite + local JSON mapping

Open adk web and continue at http://127.0.0.1:8000

python
connector = TelegramConnector(
    token=token,
    agent=assistant,
    session_management_across_device=True,
    dev_user_id=os.getenv("TELEGRAM_USER_ID")
)

Then run in two terminals

$ python my_agent/agent.py

$ adk web my_agent
